FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. (Sept. 30) RISA Technologies, LLC, working in conjunction with Autodesk, has developed a robust two way interface between Revit Structure and RISAFloor. This new link complements the already available link between RISA-3D and Revit Structure.
Autodesk’s Revit Structure enables the structural designer to work more efficiently with concurrent modeling for structural design, analysis and documentation. RISA-3D and RISAFloor, from RISA Technologies, LLC, exchange information with Revit Structure and with each other to provide the structural designer with powerful analysis and optimization tools. The link between the programs enables synchronization of all construction documentsplans, elevations, sections and detailswith the structural analysis models, a link that was not previously possible within a single platform.
“Our partnership with Autodesk Revit Structure has ushered in a new era of integration between the building design and structural analysis processes,” says Bruce R. Bates, president and founder of RISA Technologies, LLC. “The power and flexibility of RISA-3D and RISAFloor make them the most versatile analysis partner for Revit Structure.”
With support for multiple types of materials and atypical building components, RISAFloor and RISA-3D easily handle the analysis of any structural element created in Revit Structure.
“The bidirectional link between RISAFloor and Autodesk Revit Structure will improve efficiency and increase the ability for structural engineers and drafters to do concurrent building modeling and analysis,” said Olimpio DeMarco, Product Marketing Manager, Autodesk Structural Solutions. “We are excited to continue working with RISA Technologies, LLC to provide robust and innovative solutions to the structural engineering market.”
