About the Project:
The modular frame system received the prestigious AISC Merit Award in the 2003 Engineering Awards of Excellence. Because the building was publicly funded, Steele Structural Engineering was tasked with providing an economical structural system. The design team turned to steel, using a combination of wide-flange and hollow structural shapes.
