RISA-3D Demonstration Version Overview

• The PDF User’s Guide will provide a complete tutorial that will guide you through the process of building a model from start to finish.
• Please allow about 2 hours to complete the working demo tutorial in its entirety.
• The demo program and manual are copyrighted to RISA Technologies, LLC, but you are free to copy and distribute both the software and manual to anyone you wish, so long as no fee is associated with that distribution.
• The RISA-3D demo program is licensed for use for demonstration purposes only. In no event should this demo program be used for professional design purposes.

Demonstration Program Limitations

This demo is a working program but certain deliberate limitations have been added. These include:

• Permanent Shape Database Modification Not Supported: The complete AISC library of shapes is available, and you can add new shapes for one session, but you cannot save any non-standard or custom shapes to the database file.
• Model Size: The largest model that can be saved to disk is limited to 40 Joints, 40 Members, and 40 Plates. The full version allows you to save files up to the full program limits of 32000 nodes, 32000 members, and 32000 plates.
