RISA Webinar: Using RISAFloor for Commercial Building Design

We’ll explore how to use RISAFloor to analyze and design a multi-story commercial building. This sloped roof building will include steel framing, steel joists and composite steel design. The basics of model building will be covered as well as some of the common problems you might run into during design. The webinar will be held Apr. 22, 2010, at 1 p.m. PDT. RISA and Saudi Building Code Presentation

RISA Saudi Trainer and Distributor, Mr. M. Alshankyty, is conducting a two-hour audio-visual presentation on the RISA software and the Saudi code. The opening statement will be made by HE Dr. A. Alalshaikh, Deputy Governor of the Saudi Water Sweetening Authority. The lecture will be from 10 a.m. to noon pm Saturday April 10 at The SWCC Riyadh headquarters.

RISA-3D 8.1.3, RISAFloor 4.1.3 and RISAFoundation 2.1.3 now include the latest Saudi Arabian design codes as part of our ongoing efforts to expand RISA's presence internationally. The implementation of the Saudi codes was strongly supported by the RISA Saudi Trainer and Distributor, Mohammed A. Alshankyty, who is actively working with local Ministries on expansion of the use of RISA products in Saudi Arabia. He is available for in-depth demonstrations of the Saudi code implementation. RISA Saudi Software Demonstration

RISA Saudi Trainer and Distributor, Mohammed A. Alshankyty, gave a visual demonstration about RISA software to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs at the Ministry Headquarters in Riyadh on 27-01-2010. The Demonstration was attended by the Deputy Minister for Technical Affairs, the Assistant Deputy Minister, the General Directors of Technical Departmentsand all high ranking engineers at the Ministry. The affair was strongly appreciated and supported by the Deputy Minister and his staff.
